-Event Description-
What: September Guild Status Event!
When: Beginning on Friday, 9/19 at 12am running through Sunday, 9/28 at midnight. Times given are Pacific Daylight.
Where: Norrath at large.
Who: You folks; my fellow OGSers.
How: With the release of the new expansion looming, SOE has added some new lore to EQ2 to prepare for the introduction of guild halls. Many of you have already stumbled across the harvesting writs down at the docks; for those of you who haven't head into Qeynos or Freeport and check them out. Of course, the tried and true methods of tradeskill and adventuring writs, heritage quests, and slaying epic mobs are still great sources of status too.
Side note: If you've been considering working up your city tradeskill faction so you can make mannequins or AA mirrors, now is the time. GU48 doubled the faction rewards for both standard and rush orders writs.
Why: To have fun of course! Get together with a few guildies and kill somethin'! Accrue some personal status and buy a cool title, trinket, or appearance armor. And all the while push that guild progress bar closer to the top.
Why else? Money! For every 1000 gsp you contribute during the event, you'll earn 1 gp. The highest earning character of each group will also receive a bonus, as follows:
Level 1 to 30: 25gp
Level 31 to 60: 50gp
Level 61 to 80: 1 pp
And if that makes your pockets too heavy, guild bank 2 is still hungary...
