#9: Re: Player books Author: Ratticus, Location: Columbus, OHPosted: Fri May 01, 2009 6:37 am ---- Hmmm, wonder where they plan to hide the censor? or will a book of limericks suddenly make it's way into the world?
Ratti - "There was once a Tadpole,"
" who swam in big ol' hole."
" Whose mate was away in Misty Thickette."
" So he tried to find a stickit lickit."
" And, ended up clogging his piehole."

#12: Re: Player books Author: Singinliz, Location: Southern IndianaPosted: Fri May 01, 2009 11:09 am ---- Be nice if they could post the titles of all the books for the first few weeks. Betting a lot of people will come up with the same titles. Plagerism will run rampant too. My guesses for popular titles will be:
Life and Times of Queen Antonia
Gnoll Wars
The Emperor Fyst Strikes Back
Return of the Paladin
Close Encounters of the Orc Kind
And sadly porn titles will probably be the rage until and unless Sony puts the Kibosh on that at the start with filtering.
Will be interesting to see if there are best seller lists, etc. Or it will be a big dud after the novelty wears off.
Guess we will see
#13: Re: Player books Author: Wizairde, Posted: Fri May 01, 2009 11:16 am ---- Snappy retort Brendil. ;p
Um a for the 'porn' books which will likely be inevitable. I do not know what Sony's ESRB raiting is - but for online content it usually also says experience may change as you play.
That said.. these books won't be dropped anywhere and everywhere (as in any public zone) you have to willfully go to a house (or guild hall assumedly) to find and read these books. No part of a quest will ever direct you to a privately written book. So there may be a chance that there is no censoring. Take our chat for instance - you can turn off the filter if you want.
