The "reuse vertex buffers" really improved my game play.

Seems they are working on more optimizaitons for Nvidia users.

I actually have a 7800 and not an 8800, but it really helped with my stuttering problems.

Isn't that the Video series in Laptops that are crashing and burning? I THINK it is the chip set in them. Link to the FP boards

I'm not sure. It may be an iteration of them, as Nvidia uses the GeForce Go in their laptops, bu they will blend it with the FOTM chipset.

Well I broke down and did the research on the thing. Mine hasn't started acting up YET but I convinced them to fix mine. So I've got them sending me a pre-paid box to send it to back to them to get fixed.

Good Smile The 7800 and 8800 are robust chipsets. I can see them generating an awful lot of heat. Though that's pretty much true with any of the more popular graphic cards nowadays.
